Resin flooring is a durable, seamless surface created by mixing a synthetic resin with a hardener. Once cured, it forms a tough, chemical-resistant finish often used in industrial, commercial, and residential environments.
The four main types are:
- Epoxy Resin Flooring: Highly durable, chemical-resistant, and available in many finishes.
- Polyurethane (PU) Flooring: Harder wearing and resistant to heat and impact.
- Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) Flooring: Fast-curing and ideal for areas needing minimal downtime.
- Polyaspartic Flooring: Similar uses to MMA but low odour.
Resin flooring is suitable for:

With proper installation and maintenance, resin floors can last 10–20 years or more, depending on traffic, environment, and the type of resin used.

Modern resin systems can be low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) and environmentally friendly. Some formulations are solvent-free and meet sustainability standards.
Absolutely! Resin floors are available in various colours, patterns, and finishes — from glossy and metallic to matt and textured. Decorative flakes, quartz, or marble effects can also be added.
Thickness depends on the system:
- Coating: 0.3–1 mm
- Self-levelling system: 2–3 mm
- Heavy-duty system: 4–6 mm or more
